Preparation for Spring. Tonight we will learn what we need to be doing to our hives to ensure an adequate buildup of young bees are present ready to capture the spring nectar flows.

Swarm Control. What can we do to help prevent our bees from swarming. One of the annoying things for hobby beekeepers is to loose half or more of your colony and honey, due to them swarming.

Building up our bee colony. We need strong hives to enable enough field bees to be available for nectar and pollen gathering. Techniques will be presented to enable us to build up our colonies.
